Originally constructed as a vaudeville theatre, Bogart’s underwent a number of name changes and renovations in the past decades. It is now known for its strong drink, retro vibes, disco ball, and of course, noteworthy concerts.

While Bogart’s is a great spot to rent out private events or parties, its main cup of tea is hosting Indie bands and artists. With a capacity limit of 1500 guests, its main concert area provides a great space to rock out yet feel like you’re in an intimate setting. The venue itself is under the Live Nation Inc. umbrella, which is a company that specializes in putting on grade-A quality performances and booking larger names. That said, one should remember that while Bogart’s may have a history of being Cincinnati’s neighborhood hangout, it now has stricter rules that were put in place under Live Nation’s ruling. While the drinks are tasty and strong, they are a bit on the expensive side, and the bouncers have a reputation for being extra strict. Parking is limited, so get there early.
