Rich in American history, the people of Pennsylvania pride themselves on having a large amount of professional and college teams to keep them occupied and entertained. As well as a surplus of sporting events, Pennsylvania has a number of cool concert venues as well.

Another defining feature of Pennsylvania is its chocolate. Hershey, Pennsylvania is the home to America’s biggest chocolate dispensary. However, apart from having its own Willy Wonka-esque factory, the town of Hershey has its own stadium called the Hersheypark Stadium. With a capacity of around 30,000 people for concerts, the Hersheypark Stadium sits right next to the Star Pavilion, which provides a more intimate setting for quieter concerts. Names such as Nickelback, The Black Keys, and Kings of Leon have scheduled to perform on the Hersheypark stage. Indeed, concert tickets for this Pennsylvania venue tend to sell out quickly, so be sure to be the first to order them!

The Kimmel Center in Philadelphia is yet another great location to see your favorite band play in Pennsylvania. Built in 1996, the Kimmel Center began a much-needed space for touring musical productions. Today, the Kimmel Center has four performing spaces including Verizon Hall, Perelman Theatre, Academy of Music, and the Merriman Theatre. One special quality about the Kimmel Center is that the Philadelphia Orchestra calls this venue their home, and it often puts on full-scale concerts within the Academy of Music space. Another great quality about the Kimmel Center is that it offers $10 tickets for students. Through a program dubbed KimmelSTIX, students can enjoy their favorite touring theatre production or concert for only $10!

Finally, another favorite spot for Pennsylvania is the Sovereign Center located in Reading, Pennsylvania. Seating around 7,000 guests, the Sovereign Center is home to the Reading Royals ice hokey team.
