Fall in Love With Fall Out Boy, Again: Band To Save Rock and Roll on US Tour This Fall
Dads, hide your daughters: Chicago-born and bred punk pop band Fall Out Boy is back and ready to start stealing the hearts of teenage girls, all over again. The band, led by vocalist/guitarist Patrick Stump and bassist Pete Wentz, will take to the road this May on its "Save Rock and Roll" U.S. Fall Arena Tour 2013.
Where have these boys been? After announcing an indefinite hiatus in late 2009, members of the band did exactly what they said they planned to do-- take a rest and engage in various side projects. While Stump released his solo album, Soul Punk, Wentz formed the group Black Cards; Hurley and Trohman formed The Damned Things and then respectively moved onto With Knives and Enabler.
The tour, which is set to kick off on May 14 in Milwaukee, WI, will take the guys from the Midwest to the East Coast and then out West, all before wrapping up on September 29 at the USF Dome in Tampa, FL. Special guests are to be announced soon.
