Bumbershoot is an annual international music and arts festival held in Seattle, Washington. It is considered to be one of North America’s largest such festivals and is one of the longest-running. The first “Bumbershoot” festival was a city-funded event of another name, which drew 125,000 attendees in 1971. In 1975, the festival was re-named Bumbershoot, expanded to be a five-day event, and drew close to 200,000 guests. Currently, the weekend-long festival draws about 100,000 visitors from around the world each year.
Bumbershoot is held each year over Labor Day weekend and has much more to offer than just three days…
