Yolanda Adam’s mainstream recognition outside of the gospel genre came with the release of her 1999 album, Mountain High…Valley Low. The album was the artist's seventh studio release and has been acknowledged as the best gospel album of the decade. On the same chart, a list released by Billboard Magazine in 2009, she was named the #1 Gospel Artist of the Last Decade. After the release of her 2007 album, What a Wonderful Time, Yolanda Adams made the crossover into radio. Her radio show, “The Yolanda Adams Morning Show,” was a huge success and took over 26 markets in just two years. Currently, it is heard in 39 markets around the world.
