However, McGraw's success didn’t really kick off until his second album was released, Not a Moment Too Soon. The album outsold every other country album in 1994, earning the artist two ACM Awards. Fans gravitated toward him due to his good looks and the edgy twang of his vocal style. His reputation began to spread, reflected in the sales of Tim Mcgraw concert tickets.

McGraw went on to record three more albums during the nineties, including several duets with his wife, country singer Faith Hill, and he received several more awards and nominations. In 2000, he released his Greatest Hits compilation, selling six million copies. He followed up the release with a nationwide tour. Accompanied by Hill, the country duo played Madison Square Garden, among other major venues, and topped every other country tour that year.

The rest of the decade brought still more commercial success, even larger tours and audiences, and higher record sales, along with more awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2011, McGraw opened his own record label, StyleSonic Records.

In addition to his colossal musical success, McGraw began stepping into the acting world in the mid-nineties, debuting on The Jeff Foxworthy Show. Since then, he has appeared in various films including Black Cloud and Friday Night Lights, before landing his first lead role in Flicka in 2006. He would go on to star in the Oscar-nominated blockbuster The Blind Side and in Country Strong alongside Gwyneth Paltrow.
