The album brought Lady Gaga six Grammy nominations and two wins: Best Electronic/Dance Album and Best Dance Recording for “Poker Face.” The album went Platinum in over twenty countries, and that was only the beginning of Lady Gaga’s instant launch to stardom.

Lady Gaga, influenced by musical performers such as David Bowie and Queen, is recognized for her flamboyant fashion sense and quirky style. In 2009, she performed in a plastic bubble dress.
